By my count, I think it's accurate, maybe missed one -- but for discussion . . . .
The teams were:
St Marys - 3 times
Pepperdine - 3 times
Portland - 2 times
Loyola Marymount - 2 times
Santa Clara - 2 times
San Diego - 2 times
San Francisco - 2 times
Gonzaga - 1 time
So ~ 17 games against WCC teams between 2000 and when we entered the WCC.
Out of those games, what was BYU's win-loss record? 13 wins - 4 losses. Losses were against Loyola-M, St. Marys, Pepperdine and San Francisco. So a 76% winning record against WCC teams in all of those games. This year, right now we're 10-5 for 66%.
So overall, we did a little better against these teams before we were in the same conference with them. Not a huge difference though.
The record doesn't show though, that these are teams BYU would beat 90% of the time or more. We lost games to them before being in the WCC and we lose games to them now.
I think they do better against us now partly because they've come to know the BYU strengths and weaknesses.
