I know this has been posted before, but it seems like he's really distanced himself from BYU since he left the program. I don't think I've ever heard him mention BYU in interviews or even Lavell Edwards for that matter. I don't think he even paid tribute to Lavell after his passing in December. Which is weird because just about every other former BYU player was coming out of the woodwork to talk about him or say some nice words in tribute. Sark said nothing.
The only time I remember him mentioning his playing time at BYU was back in September 2010 when Washington was playing in Provo and all BYU's All American quarterbacks were honored at halftime. I think he made some comments at that time. Hans Olsen interviewed him on 1280 once and was trying to get him to loosen up and was telling some funny stories about their time at BYU and Sark just wasn't going for it. Hans later said it was a very disappointing interview.
It used to be that Jim McMahon was the prodigal son, but he's since made his peace with BYU and is now back in the fold. Does anyone else feel this way about Sark? I appreciate what he did for the program. He gave us one of our best years ever in 96, but since then I feel like his connection to the program has been tenuous at best, if not non-existent.
