There is a BIG difference between developing talent and just showing off talent. I agree that the NBA (and NFL, etc.)

can find a player almost anywhere if the talent is good enough. But Frank Jackson did not have NBA talent coming out of Lone Peak - he has to develop that in college for a year or two, and playing at Duke, against ACC competition, is the better way to do that.
