BYU no longer has that tie to Brazil. I agree that Roese was very good in his recruiting when here. Araujo, Lemes, Malaman, and Tavernari were all great pieces for BYU. If you could add those kind of complementary players to core LDS stars from Utah, that would provide the depth BYU needs. The problem is that much like Dave Rice, I don't see Roese coming back. It would be great if he did. However, I think it will need to be some new coach with similar connections.

If this staff added Rice and Roese, I would be happy. However, I would also gladly take Tavernari and Akana as guys with strong recruiting ties in different areas.
