Frankly I'm shocked. OF course as fans we all selfishly would want him to stay. Speaking subjectively I think it would be a big mistake for him to leave early. No doubt Mika is one of the top big men we've had in our program. He was dominating at times this year and really improved his game. But he also has a long way to go to ever getting significant minutes in the NBA. He was abused at times by very marginal post players on Defense this year. I shudder to think of what real 4s in the league would do to him. He must develop a stronger outside shot. Otherwise in my humble opinion he goes the way of Brandon Davies and Trent Plaisted. I truly hope the best for Eric but I think another year is a must for his development.
