older guy came up to me and started talking in a southern accent. He said, "I like BYU. They're probably my second favorite team." And then he paused. I was waiting for him to say he likes Utah better or something and I was summoning the energy to respond politely no matter what he said. I responded, "Who is your favorite team?" Then he said, "Well, let's just say I think BYU's going to have a hard time in Houston against LSU." I gave a polite chuckle, almost in relief that it wasn't some stupid smack from a Ute, and then said, "You're probably right, but I think it'll be fun." He agreed and moved on.

And, yes, I realize nobody cares.
