The second-to-last time a remote-computer-repair scammer called me, the called

ended (after I screwed with him for some time) with him declaring, "I can kill you whenever I want." So that was disconcerting. That was approximately a year ago. I am still here, so I suspect he grew disinterested.

They are remarkably thin-skinned.
