The extreme majority of fans would not have been okay with losing because our best players were on the bench the whole
time. It's a nice, easy thing to say now but while the season is going on, people would have been mad if we were losing in the final 10 minutes and Emery and Haws were sitting on the bench all game. Fans get impatient and not many would think it was good for our team to lose to WCC teams in the interest of teaching our best players a lesson.
