This requires weigh-in on Thursday afternoon and since qualifiers come from all 8 sections of the state most have to miss Thur & Fri of school to participate.

My son has qualified both times he was eligible (by age) so far.

We have some every year from our team make it but that is the one event that interrupts school for the entire season.
