I've been wondering this for a while now. What is it that makes Americans like crappy foods?
- Hershey's Chocolate
- French's Mustard
- Wonder Bread
- Easy Cheese
- American Cheese
- Candy Corn
All of those products are wildly inferior goods. The US adopted culture and foods from all over the world, but why didn't we adopt Belgian/Swiss/German Chocolate? or French/German Mustard? Or any sense of what makes decent cheese!?
