What should We expect from the economy over the next couple of years

What indicators are there that should give us optimism? What indicators should cause us to proceed with caution going into the future. Will rising interest rate slow an already slow growth rate.

There are lots of smart people on cougarboard let's see what we can expect going forward

Not sure but I'd really like to see gas/oil prices go up.
