For those considering ever getting a golden doodle, be sure to consider unexpected additional costs
I don't plan to get rid of the dog, but in hindsight he was probably a mistake.
Despite having a house and yard full of accessible rubber chew toys, ropes, raw hides, a freely accessible large yard accessed via dog door, and 3 mile daily run for exercise the dog has probably managed close to 15k worth of damage due to chewing alone.
Examples of things chewed:
-A leather recliner
-All the cords under our tempurpedic adjustable bed frame rendering it useless
-multiple baseboards
-our stairs
-electronic key to the car
-countless shoes
-3 of my hats
-my wallet along with my drivers license
