Warriors likely don't finish that comeback if Leonard doesn't get hurt. That ankle must be hamburger by now, having wrenched it twice in this game when it was already gimpy. It won't be really right until sometime in the offseason, but hopefully he can play effectively again this series.
Even if the Spurs would have won today, I still think the Warriors take the series. The Warriors played poorly the first half. They needed to be reminded what high-level basketball looks like - to be challenged. After playing so few games this past month, and after never really being tested, they played very sloppily when faced with the Spur's excellent execution and tenacity.
For anybody that thinks that Leonard's injury was the only reason why the Warriors made their comeback, that's ludicrous. The Warriors were always going to put on a big push to erase the deficit. I think it's likely the Spurs hang on to win if Leonard is able to play, but the Warriors were always going to at least make it close.
Even without Leonard, the Spurs are no joke. The Warriors will have to play better, like they did in the second half, to win any of these games.
