Graduation rant ...
It used to be that graduation was a term associated with high school and institutions of higher learning and had significance because it celebrated an important achievement and a major maturation step in life. Now I've attended graduation ceremonies for grandchildren in pre-school, middle school, etc. which I think is ridiculous. Moving on a grade level merits a graduation ceremony? Has graduation become the latest "participation trophy" for our youth? But the rant is here, not to the family nor the HCBW, which I support regardless of how lame I think the whole graduation thing has become.
