Universal is calling its new franchise the "Dark Universe" starting w/ The Mummy

The studio revealed today that the shared universe, which kicks off with The Mummy, will also include Johnny Depp as The Invisible Man and Javier Bardem as Frankenstein’s Monster, in addition to The Mummy's Tom Cruise (Nick Morton), Russell Crowe (Dr. Jekyll), and Sofia Boutella (The Mummy).
