Yewt county back to where I live in Northern Utah County and a phrase just kept popping up in my head about BYU football, "it's just a matter of time"...I contemplated what this actually meant in regards to BYU football and here is what I came up with...

First of all for anyone who is familiar with the growth and what is happening in Utah County, it is booming, there is a new office building / headquarters being built almost every month, these are huge companies that are mostly started by BYU grads, there are tons of new homes being built, and so many great things happening throughout Utah County. I can see the new silicone slopes success funnel a ton of money into BYU football and raise its status. There are more 5* LDS recruits than ever and now with Kalani we have a better chance at getting them. Ty Detmer is bringing back an offense that can compete with the big boys and a scheme that fits the personnel. The trends are noticeable and exciting.

So really it is just a matter of time...

it is just a matter of time when BYU reaches its 1979-1985 glory year heights
it is just a matter of time when BYU recreates a unique and offensive juggernaut
it is just a matter of time until BYU joins the BIG 12
it is just a matter of time until BYU has another Heisman Candidate
It is just a matter of time that BYU is a perennial top 15 finishes
It is just a matter of time that BYU gets into the playoffs
...I'm going to stop there, because I don't want to talk about National Championships, because I want to see how the next two years go and if Kalani is a lifer.
