way home, one of the transport boxes carrying the frames opened a bit. My son was in the back seat counting the bees that had escaped and for most of the trip he said there were about 10-15. But when they got a couple of miles from home he said there were a lot more, like about 30. By the time they got home, my wife said the entire inside of the back window of the suburban was covered with bees, but they were real calm. She loaded the frames into the hive boxes we had set up, backed the suburban next to the hives and left the doors open. They all found there way out of the car and into their new home.
