In my mind, the issue with today's culture of sound bites is that the people we hear most say the most extreme things. Not everyone is either alt-right or "dismantle the system".

I support BLM and efforts by police and governments to try to fix racial relations.

Some things we have done as a country have really screwed people of color, and no they didn't stop 150 years ago. Not even 50 years ago.

The right and left have to stop taking the most vocal/extreme from the other side and painting everyone with those strokes.

But yes. Pertaining to kaepernick himself...this is not a good look. And not the best way to express anger about Philando Castille.
