Sometimes I count BYU/utah/usu swag during my commute
from North Utah county to SLC (near the airport) and back. I look at stickers / license plates / license plate frames, etc.
Based on my limited sample size, I would estimate cars showing some type of college swag as follows:
50% utah
35% BYU
15% usu
More worthless information: 2 years ago I went to Scheels gigantic sporting goods store in Sandy. They had large BYU and Utah apparel sections (probably 50/50).
If you walk in there today, you'll seen an even larger Utah section, a smaller BYU section, and a brand new USU section. So both utah and usu took shelf space away from BYU.
This trend has to stop and there in only one way to reverse it! The Church needs to buy Scheels.
