People have been asking about snow conditions in the Uintas. Here's a video taken last Sunday from the summit
...of Mt. Agassiz, which is the 12,433 ft. high to the east of Mirror Lake. Sure, there's snow on top, but the guy who filmed this hiked up without any snow climbing gear, and the snow is disappearing fast, according to him. I think this is good news for anybody wanting to get up there soon. Most of the areas I like to hike or backpack are about 2000 ft. below this, so, that's promising. I'll also be up there myself this weekend and I'll give a report on what I see.
