Wife ended up in ER a few nights ago. Diagnosed with SVT . Anyone know
Much about it? Going to specialist in a bit.

She has had occasional bouts in past if fast heart rate but would go away after 5-10 min. Her PCP always said it was normal for many women to have this.

2 months ago she had it and lasted 1 hr

Friday night it went on for 4 hrs and we went to ER. HR was 160-180 the whole time. Couldn't get it to slow (valsalva, hold breath, cold towel, ice water in face, etc...)

ER doctor says not life threatening and no damage to heart. She is probably as healthy as she has ever been. Cardio, wt training and diet. No crazy diet, supplements or any garbage.

Anyone know much about it? Do they have meds to take in case of another attack or To prevent?
