I grew up in the 80s and loved all of the heavy metal bands and still enjoy listening to 80's rock from time to time.

Living in the El Paso area, it's fair to say that it is definitely not a tour stop location for bands. However, this weekend in El Paso is the one low-level rock group tour stop. Here are my amazing choices for $30:

Friday night: Papa Roach, Starset, In The Moment

Saturday night: Alice Cooper, Jackyl, Dokken

First, you don't have to remind me that these are really low level groups that are just trying to keep touring as long as they can to make a buck--I know that.

I'm leaning toward Alice Cooper Saturday night simply because I know more Alice Cooper and Dokken songs than Papa Roach. I honestly have never heard of Starset and In The Moment.

Besides the "save your $30 and don't go to either" comments, anyone like any of these bands? I realize that CB isn't a real hard rock crowd to start with.
