Whip, bigbluecougar, and possibly some others were interested in finding out the conditions in the High Uintas since we've had so much snow this year. Bushy and I attempted to join up for camping together, but fate had other plans. We both made it up there though, and we did camp. Bushy can add to my report if he wants.
Whip specifically asked about Alexander Lake. There's no problem at all with getting there due to the snow--the roads were almost completely dry, although we had a trickle of a stream in one spot. You need some serious clearance and tires to get in there, but that's not due to snow, and I assume you already know that. Beautiful lake, though, and camping all along forest road 41 or there at the lake is just great. Temps at night were fine--I wore shorts the whole night, and only needed a sweatshirt about 9:00 or so.

I also drove up to the Crystal Lake trailhead. This is a little higher in elevation, and there were occasional piles of snow in shadows, but the trail looks to be in great shape, and tons of hikers were going in and out. The trailhead parking lot was completely full.

From there I went up to the summit and the Baldy trailhead. There was a lot more snow up there, but not horrible. Hiking would be interesting, but certainly doable. There were a lot of hikers on the trail.
