We have our high adventure coming up and the company has sent out an equip list. It says to bring a set of old tennis shoes to wear in the water/boat. Another option would be a "water shoe" or those Keen type sandals that have a closed toe. Several of the boys already need to purchase other equip (lifejackets, etc...) and pay a decent amount of money for the trip, so we want to cut down on the amount of purchases that need to be made.
Some of the boys already surf and have surf booties. For those unfamiliar, there are sort of a couple different styles. The first being for warmer water, but to protect your feet from some rocks, sea urchins, reef, etc....Lower cut, thinner neoprene and thinner sole. The 2nd example is for the same purpose but usually a high top (harder to get on/off) designed for cooler water, thicker neoprene, thicker sole and just a bit more heavy duty.
I am not sure what exactly is needed for a white water rafting trip, but will either one of these work? TIA
