So in follow up to my post last night, my wife saw Dr today, had blood tests done and chest Xray. Xray was normal.
Blood results are as follows:
TSH 0.03
Free T4 1.65
He wants to do an ultrasound on the Thyroid, looks like that will be done tomorrow AM. It appears that with a very low TSH and normal FT4, her likely diagnosis is hyperthyroidism of some sort (Graves, subclinical, etc…). This may explain a TON of the symptoms that she has been dealing with, just a little surprised the Cardio didn’t do more testing since people with hyperthyroidism can also lead to Tachycardia. She also had a blood test at the hospital, and I kind of wonder why nothing was mentioned regarding results with that. Still kind of nerve racking not knowing the exact Dx yet and course of action.
