Been at my current company for 7.5 years. Have generally been happy, but also have issues with having too much work and
never take off enough time.

Anyway, I decided a couple months ago that I need to recalibrate my priorities and focus more on my family, and part of doing that was probably finding a new job.

Well, I received a couple offers this week, and now I'm really confused as to what to do. Both offers are similar in responsibility and comp, with some differences in the base/ bonus breakdown. But, I'm also now questioning if I should even leave my current gig.

I will say this - I got home the other day at 6, and my daughter acted surprised to see me and asked me why I was home so early (I had a dentist appt).

Financially there won't be much difference than where I'm at now, but I will likely have more time to be at home. The biggest reason to even looking was to for me to have more time with my family, but I've built up a good career where I'm at and am comfortable. Starting over doesn't really excite me.

Anyway, those of you that have left a company after so many years, did you ever regret it?

I mentioned in the linked post that I am considering leaving my company for another offer. (Texas Hammer, Jul 16, 2017 at 8:44pm)
