I agree.... perhaps I'm unaware of the behind the scenes details but I think that BYU (and the Cougar
Club) would rally around a winning coach. There are scriptures that discuss paying an honest wage. If a guy is worth $4MM/yr then we should pay him $4MM/yr. I just don't see a scenario where a coach leaves BYU over money.
WHEN Kalani wins.... and WHEN other teams want to poach him... BYU (and the Cougar Club) will rally and pay the man enough money that money isn't a part of the reason he might leave.
