Gilligan was a dork,
but I'd have preferred him over the goofball Skipper. "Hey little buddy."

Anybody remember the tv comedy Bob Denver (Gilligan) was in before Gilligan's Island? (The answer is way down below so you can think)
He played Maynard Krebs, a lazy beatnik on the 60's black and white comedy "Dobie Gillis." (Yes I'm old. I remember gathering around the family RADIO as a 3 year old.)
