I'm doing an outdoor fireplace project. There is an existing natural gas gas stub in the backyard I need a plumber to connect to that gas stub extend it 3 feet make a 90° turn and extend it another 12 feet then connect it to my fireplace that is Built.

I had a plumber come out and give me a quote for it and he quoted $2500. That seems crazy expensive. The line needs to be buried 18 in underground. So that's included in his quote.
