every single super star kid. I looked at our 2018 commits and we already have a solid class with this goal in mind.

We have:
4*: 2
3*: 11
2*: 5
Given the number of times our coaching staff was the first or early to offer a kid who later got a lot of attention, I wouldn't sleep on the 2* guys either. This staff has an eye for what they want in their system.
In addition to the commits we have in a class that is solid with depth of 3* guys, we have several more 3-5* recruits we've offered for the 2018 class, including McKee (a 5* QB) and Robertson. It's possible that towards the end or on signing day, we add even more great talent to this already strong class. We did pretty well with hat ceremonies last year compared to the norm.
The biggest difference between us and P5 teams is often more about depth than it is about talent of starters (although that does matter). A good case study is to look at Utah. Not necessarily more talented across the board than us at starter (with the exception of the lines), but much deeper. We are starting to see this recruiting philosophy come about at BYU. I'm very excited about the recruiting we're seeing from Kalani and co.
