I'm reposting this because there were some problems with the link yesterday. Some of you may not have read this. If so, carry on. Here's the link and a few comments.

"He endured the endless double takes. Class mates making eye contact looking away, then slowly turning back for one...two... three seconds."
Please excuse us Mr. Tyler Dunne. You see most of us BYU students grew up on a ranch in Tuttle, Idaho. We've seen lots of Black Angus, but not any African Americans. (Maybe some of the stares were from fans recognizing that one of their idols was sitting just a few feet away?)
He tells how Jamaal is free at last and ridicules the BYU honor code. Shortly afterwards, he is with Jamaal at a bar. He states Williams doesn't like alchohol and provides a quote from Jamaal. "I'll take video games over drinking and girls any day." Yes, Mr. Dunne, BYU was such a horrible fit for Jamaal.
I am in no way criticizing Jamaal Williams. I practically adore the guy. I anticipate him being successful at Green Bay, and I'm sure Packer fans will love him just as much as we BYU fans.
I'm well aware that BYU is a culture shock for many inner city kids. I thought Jamaal handled himself very well at BYU.
There were many nice things about this article. Definitely worth reading. I just didn't like some of the BYU comments, which I felt were cheap shots. For the most part, Williams loved BYU and BYU loved him back. In a way, a knock on BYU is also a knock on Jamaal.
