Seems most people knew he wanted to play in Italy...maybe not the Ultimate goal, and clearly he had dreams for more (NBA), but Europe (specifically Italy) was well known and I guaranty this hurt his negotiations.
Had he played one more year in college, his situation would be better in probably every scenario.
Good luck Mika. I do wish you the best, but I hope that future BYU college kids learn from your miscalculation.

He's already 22, his arms aren't getting any longer, and he isn't going to be more athletic. By staying, he's losing out

Those guys drafted in this year's draft will still be around, however, as will next year's. It only gets more difficult.
