...and they keep getting players drafted in the 1st round (Wright, Poeltl, Kuzma). An even more disturbing fact is that iirc when Frank Jackson made his announcement that he was attending Duke I think he had Utah as his 2nd choice (or at least they were ahead of BYU). I think when push comes to shove, our inability to win the WCC is hurting us.
