I think that has been the plan for a while. I don't believe he wants to play. His performance has been in decline since year one. His behavior with the media showed (to me at least) he cannot handle the pressure and responsibility that comes with the position. I believe the sjw stuff provides an escape from reality. It makes him out to be the victim.
