Regarding my fellow brethren, when I lived in the Houston area for about 12 years, if byu football or basketball was playing within 800 miles, I told my wife that I would be going and see if she'd be interested as well. She usually was, but the point is, if it's important to you and you call yourself a fan, you'll be there.

My wife, son and I will also be attending the tailgate because we believe that's also a portion of us being supportive of BYU. I don't assess it like I'm going to grab something to eat, wondering if I'm going to get great value. I know fellow alumni have worked hard to pull it together and if every quasi-Yewt who could afford it otherwise had such an ungrateful attitude as to not deliberately support the local alumni chapter, after everything byu has provided you and your family, shame on you.
