I had bees for about 3-4 years and loved your video and updates.
I also enjoy your meticulous approach to it. After reading a few of your posts about a lending club (or whatever it was) i knew you were methodical and Im glad to see it carries over to your beekeeping.

Anyhow, a couple of thoughts.

1 You actually made the process look easy and non sticky. My guess is the reality is likely different, but still you've done some good things to make it clean.

2. Why did you just shake the bees off the frames instead of using a bee brush? Curious if you've ever done that or just like your method.

3. Where is your "bee room" I think that is what you called the place you uncapped and extacted? I always did it in my garage vs. house as its much warmer and therefore everything flows better. It almost looked like a mud or laundry room. If it is in the house, how warm is it in there?

4. Do you ever pour the honey through a screen prior to bottling? We always did but a lot of what I did was trial and error and not really because I had any mentor to learn from.

Good work. Thanks a ton for sharing.

BTW, i got out of it but could see myself picking it up again some day. Your video updates might be what puts me over the top.
