We researched then bought a Bosch. High quality and whisper quiet.
Cleans really well and sometimes I even go back into the kitchen to make sure it's on because it's so quiet i can't even hear it.

We have the Whirlpool Gold Series. Other than taking 3 hours to do a cycle, it's been almost adequate. Big thumbs-up!
