I'm sick of the limbo of independence and Co stably comparing ourselves to Utah.

Utah us better than us in football now. Thoroughly and completely. And will be for a long time. They are structurally set up to be better than us.

We need to accept this reality and move on. Let's go G5, or even DivII. Let's enjoy football against equal opponents, instead of always trying to pretend we're going to keep up with average P5 programs.

We don't have funding, we don't have recruiting, we don't have pull for coaches, we have an honor code, we have politically challenging positions. And most importantly we don't and will not have an invite.

I dont enjoy BYU football right now. I miss the MWC, and conference opponents, and meaningful December games. I'd rather be big fish in that little pond than continuing to flop around hoping somebody picks us up and puts us in the ocean.
