Not that being LDS is bad, I am, served a mission, active, all that jazz, but the limitation BYU has on head coaches only applies to head coaches. Assistants and Coordinators we're free as the birds to hire who we want, they don't have to be LDS. Former WR Coach Holliday isn't LDS, Coach Gilford our CB coach isn't LDS. I'm hoping BYU can hire a non-LDS coach to be our OC to replace Detmer if he doesn't figure it out against the good teams after this season is over.

Does anyone know if our DC Tuiaki is LDS?

Also, since being LDS isn't a requirement for an OC, who should we go for/realistically potentially get?
