Don't think a conf of superpowers will ever happen.

If entire schedules are filled with strong teams, then a lot of traditionally strong programs will become doormats. Nebraska will tire of going 2-10 every year, for example. Even the SEC (the closest modern similarity) has punching bags to inflate everyone's record.
