That is when the word FANATIC comes into real relief. None of us are happy with the results. Not the coaches, not the players, not the fans, or even the administration enjoys what is going on this year. This is bad and it is going to have some bad days coming up.
But I do not love BYU just when they are winning. My fandom has never waned in all the years of ups and downs and I will not stop cheering them on now- when they need it the very most. It is easy to cheer when things are good- but let's be honest. If we are mad- you can imagine how they are feeling right now.
Just watched the Harvey and Irma cleanup videos. We, as a people, run to help in a disaster- not run away. This season has been a disaster so far, but it can get better. We have easier opponents coming up that will build some confidence and start rebuilding our season and program. We all knew this was not going to be like turning on a light switch.
Ok- So I am a bit of a Pollyanna. Better than a Debbie Downer--which I used to be quite often. Just not worth it to me any more.
