What many of us thought was the reason for the offense's struggles last year - Taysom as a running read option style QB in a pro-style system (square peg in round whole) -- actually masked deficiencies in the offensive system, coaching and/or personnel.
I dont know what are the primary reasons for the offensive struggles this year, but It's pretty clear now that Taysom was not the problem last year. The fact he made an NFL roster this year is only part of the evidence. The paltry offensive showing this year with a pro-style QB is the best evidence of this
