anyone have an ACT advice/strategies to increase score
Daughter just started Jr year. She just got a 25 on her first ACT try and is crushed. Not much prep at all, only a couple practice tests on her own time. Her problem seems to be pacing herself as she has several blanks just before time is up on each section and just filled in "B" on the rest. She is extremely bright, has gotten straight As with barely even doing any homework or studying (she doesn't get this from me) and does well in ALL subjects (ironically, she keeps getting some science student of year award and she doesn't even like science and she has gotten it both of her years in HS. HS of 3,000 students). A lot of the math she hasn't even been exposed to yet (she is taking honors algebra/calculus). Her goal is to get into BYU, so ACT is extremely important. I think she has the brain to get 28-30 score, but needs some guidance on time management and test taking strategies).
