I help coach a 9u football team. We have a kid who is a decent defensive lineman but doesn't like practice. He has missed most of our team activities for the last 2 weeks. Head coach called mom to see what was up, but got no answer. A while later he got this text (verbatim):

"Noah has had a cuncinshin sorry he has not been coming"

He did not have any obvious injuries or complaints, but the mom is t very communicative so who knows? Head coach sends mom the league's concussion protocol. About an hour later mom texts back:

"Sorry Noah had my phone. He had a stomach bug but is getting better. No concussion!"


Lol, so basically the kid is making up having a "cuncinshin" so he doesn't have to practice, and texted the head coach as if he was his mom. Strange times we live in.
