No other P5 team would have any incentive to play BYU if we joined a G5 right?
Right now BYU is considered P5 for most of the conferences and it counts against their conference rules to play a certain amount of P5 teams correct? So if BYU joins a G5 conference, then we no longer are considered P5 and why would any of the bigger schools we have played play us? Am I wrong here?

Seems pretty simple that our SOS would drop even more if we join a G5. The only "benefit" I see is we get easier access to NY6 bowls as the highest ranking G5. So those that defending the idea of going to a G5, how do you explain this?
