Is it the assumption that these coaches are better recruiters who just need to get “their guys” into the system? Cause how many good recruits are going to come to a losing BYU program when they could go to P5 schools?
Is it the assumption that coaches get better with time? Cause not all do, and the trajectory for this coaching staff is heading steeply in the wrong direction with not even a hint that this will turn around. And most of these coaches have no coaching resume to suggest that they can turn this around.
So, sincerely I’d like to hear reasons why I should be optimistic about this coaching staff, but nothing on the field suggests to me that this will get any better.
