They write a comment as to why and then the other poster can change it. I believe they can appeal/discuss, but
I haven't seen it yet.
It's a much better system, IMO, then a "ban hammer"/penalty for something that really isn't a big deal, especially if their are quality sub-threads below the post. That was one of my biggest complaints with post deletions is the losing of the following conversation.
