So the whole gamble with Kalani is based on the hope that he can outrecruit Bronco and get past the 9 win plateau. I see no reason why BYU can't field a team like Hall, Unga, Collie, Pitta again. You need recruits and you need some luck for those recruits to progress into NFL players. We don't have those players right now. Maybe Bushman. I don't see others at this point. But that doesn't mean we can't get back to be a top 25 team. I don't think we'll win a championship like we did in the 80s, but top 25 team should still be the aim and reasonable expectation.
