RE: I like Kalani, but if you feel bad for him, you're crazy
Imagine a job where you make great money but your every decision is critiqued by thousands of wanna-be's, has-been's, and never-were's.

If you are good at your job, most people like you but there's still plenty of criticism about why/how you should be doing better than you are, and after a few years of doing a good job, lots of people will start talking about how you should be fired to make room for somebody better who can take your business to the mythical "next level."

If you are bad at your job, some people still like you, but most of people the people who used to like you are now happy to just pile on the criticism and rant about how incompetent you are (and feel perfectly justified in being jerks because they shelled out a few hundred bucks for your product), and even your kids & wife get crap at school about what a lousy job their stupid dad/husband is doing.

Yeah, totally crazy to feel even a little bad for a guy with that sweet job.
