Our daughter sustained a concussion this summer during a soccer game
when her legs got taken out from under her and she fell with her head hitting the turf. Her immediate symptoms were not severe, but she was clearly "off," and she didn't return to full normal for a couple months. I was surprised at how long her problems lingered.
